H&R Block Announces 200th Consecutive Quarterly Dividend

KANSAS CITY, MO--(Marketwire - Aug 23, 2012) -  H&R Block, Inc. (NYSE: HRB) today announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of 20 cents per share, payable October 1, 2012, to shareholders of record as of September 14, 2012. This declaration marks the 50th anniversary of H&R Block's first dividend payment and represents its 200th consecutive quarterly dividend since the company went public in 1962.
