MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 1, 2001--RSM McGladrey, Inc., a national accounting, tax and consulting firm serving mid-sized businesses, has acquired the non-attest business of Messina, Ceci, Archer & Co. (MCA) of Stamford and Greenwich, Conn. MCA serves mid-size business clients in Connecticut's Greater Fairfield Area.

Messina, Ceci, Archer & Co. has served Greater Fairfield County businesses and individuals for 16 years. The firm's 40 professionals serve clients in a variety of industries, including construction and real estate companies, not-for-profit organizations, professional services firms, manufacturing, wholesale and distribution companies, and retail companies. No staff changes are anticipated, according to Ceci, who said clients will continue to be served by the same service teams.
